TikTok transcript

Paste a public TikTok link, then press Get transcript.

How this page works

The link is sent to our Cloudflare Worker, which asks TikTok for the public video file. The video comes back to your browser, your browser decodes the audio, and the audio is sent in short segments to Cloudflare Workers AI for transcription. The text is returned to this tab. There is no account and no stored transcript library.

Questions

Which links work?

Public video links in the form https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/123… and public short links starting with https://vm.tiktok.com/ or https://vt.tiktok.com/. Private, friends-only, region-locked, or deleted videos cannot be read.

Why does a link sometimes fail?

TikTok limits automated access and changes how it serves video files. When it refuses the request, this page says so instead of returning invented text. In that case save the video and upload the file on the upload page.

Is the transcript exact?

No. Transcription is generated by a speech model and can mishear names, numbers, slang, overlapping speakers, music, and quiet speech. Check the text against the video before quoting or publishing it.

Do you keep the video?

No copy is stored. The file is streamed to your browser for decoding, and only short audio segments are sent for transcription. See the privacy policy for details.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in a current mobile browser. Keep the tab open until the text finishes, because processing happens while the page is active. Long videos take longer and need more memory.

What are the limits?

Videos up to 200 MB and audio up to 30 minutes. Only process videos you have the right to use. This site is independent and not affiliated with TikTok.
